Instrument consists of:

1. input section: Audio signal
2. control section: 2 PWMs (pulse width modulator)
3. output section: VCA-mode (voltage controlled amplifier) / Engine-mode

1. line in (input, line in level)
2. Keyboard Instrument (input, internal signal level)
3. line out (output, line in level)
4. engine out (output, engine out level(12V DC))

Controls

1. 4 knobs for threshold voltages
2. 1 knob for the level of modulation by the 1st PWM on the 2nd one
3. 2 knobs for frequency control (1 per PWM)
4. 1 switch for Engine / VCA mode
   
5. 1 switch for continuous / incremental frequency control of PWM 2

Keyboard Instrument:

1. 32 steps for incremental frequency control
2. 1 switch for glissando effects (on / off)
3. 1 pushbutton for resetting the pitch of an increment
